In no specific order....

Battle Realms -
in my opinion the best of the Starcraft/Warcraft/AgeofEmpires type games where you build buildings and produce units while harvesting resources.
The reason Battle Realms is so good, is...
Instead of creating a Warrior, you take a farmer, and train him, so you really only produce farmers and then train them into what you desire....also Rice & Water are the only resources, but rice must be tended, and watered by farmers, and harverted by other farmers.

Great reply value and fun fun game with many facets.

Guild Wars
One of the best RPG's ever made. The cooperative skills between characters, competitons, If you are into RPG and like questing or doing missions together with other people online this game really won't disappont you. If you enjoy pvp battles against other (small) groups, this game also won't disappoint you. But if you expect an MMORPG as this game was called to be, then you are in for a very big disappointment. It does not deserve the title, the only MMO aspect is in the towns where you rally with other members, all the playing is done "instanced" which totally kills any MMO aspect of the game. Of course this is cause for many benefits I won't deny it, but at a cost I did regret.

Grim Fandango
Because it is funny, looks great for an adventure game. You are Death in Mexican folklore and it gets better as you progress. The game uses a keyboard-driven interface instead of the traditional point-and-click, and Manny signals significant objects by turning his head and looking as he passes by. Grim Fandango overcomes the major problems with this style, so only rarely will you be frustrated by disorienting camera-angle switching or feel lost because of an obscure exit.

Galactic Civilizations II
Simply the best Turn based game ever. Custom ships, cities, societies...everything.
