i've never liked opera or netscape.
firefox has been better than IE 6, but if you download the IE 7 beta version, it's obvious that microsoft is trying to give firefox a run for its money.
firefox still seems more secure, but IE seems more compatible with many of the special features included on websites.

Its got to be Firefox. Just because its a bit more secure and also has got a big development community that can identify issues and fixes the code and is more transparent with the way in which they bundle the package.
Also, there are a lot of extensions that can be easily built with Firefox.

Flock. It's very similar to FF, because it's built on the same base, but it's got a lot more features (such as easy photo uploading, a decent built-in RSS reader, support for multiple blogs, etc.) and a nicer interface.
Edit: Just so I don't sound like somebody paid me to say this, I was skeptical at first too, but it's won me over over time.

Yesterday I've downloaded IE7 SP2 Beta. Its a great experience. I tried others too but made me cry out loud honestly. So I say one has to try it.
