Yes, its a fact, especially when people find more emotional stability in the new found love with her, in comparison to the love they were getting from their spouse earlier. Remember the saying 'Men get naughty after 40...same applies to women'.

Do you mean fall back in love with each other? Or with other people?
I think it's absolutely possible either way. Love is such a fragile thing, and sometimes you don't even know when it's lost. Love is about hard work, and embracing your partner's imperfections, and sometimes when you get married, you tend to forget, and other things become more important. But if you take a little time off to rediscover each other, it can be just like when you first fell in love.
But I think the biggest obstacle in doing this, is that when many people realize they've fallen out of love, they lose the will to try to make it work. They feel it's not worth it anymore, or something better can come along, etc etc. I think sometimes they realize it's not even love in the first place. And sometimes they're right.
But if it's just a question of paying more attention to each other, of putting in more effort to know your partner again, from scratch, then absolutely, they can fall in love again. And it can be even more glorious than before!

You can never fall in and out of love, you either still love that person or you just dont have any feelings at all for that person.

I think it is possible to love someone more deeply as you go along in married life. I know I did. My wife died three years ago to cancer, and I think I loved her deeper every day we were together.
