That is no reason for you to not get the job, but you HAVE to solve your problem and as good faith show them that you have already straight that out.
Really ...fix that problem as soon as possible. Believe me...you don't want to get pull over by a cop and taken to jail because of that...then you can just kiss good bye to your new job.

you can call the DMV and find out why it is suspended. Then go down to the DMV where you actually get a license, meet with a counselor and find out what to do. This has happened to me before, the fees can range from $50 to $300 depending on the reason and which state you are in. Lack of insurance, changing insurance companies, not paying a ticket are just a few of the reasons I know of that can get your license suspended. Make sure they have your correct address so in the future you will get notification via mail.

Contact the department of motor vehicles for the state you live in to find out why our license is suspended and what your options are.

If you can get the job is up to the company that wants to hire you. If the company requires you to have a valid drivers license, they may turn you down for the position.

Yeah you can get a job. Let the employer know that you are handling it and will handle it before the start date. Contact DMV and see what the problem is. Myabe you just need to pay off some tickets. Just check eith them and see how you can handle the situation.

How can you not know your license is suspended? Never mind I probably don't want to know. Just kidding anyway.
The best and probably only thing you can do is call or go to the DMV and ask them what you need to do to rectify the situation.
They are the ONLY ones that can do anything about it.

depends on if it is for a "driving job". if it is for inside work, it should not make any difference to them, it doesnt make you a criminal for having a suspended license. ( your license could get suspended for non payment of child support: which would not be a reflection of your work abilities.) also to get more info on your suspension call Sec of State: if your in illinois # is 217-762-3720

Quickly go and pay whatever it is with the courts to have the suspension removed, and then go the DMV and pay them the fee to get your license reactivated.
