I just read a news article about how people are mad at the US over this Israel/Hezbollah thing. The reason given was b/c the bombs are US made. We can't seem to make anyone happy anymore, can we? If we stay out of things, we get in trouble...if we stick our noses into other people's business, we get in trouble. In this article, the town turned away US aid. I'm not saying that we do everything right or that I agree with the involvement in things, but really...? Thoughts?

The U.S. needs to stay out of everyone's business and worry about the economy and jobs here. With that being said we need to quit playing around with these countries that support terrorism, instead of putting troops on the ground in Afghanistan we should have MELTED the country into nothing. We did nothing to provoke the horrible 911 attacks or did you people forget? George Bush is doing the right thing except for putting troops on the ground.

Oooh, poor US, always trying to "save" the world and being misunderstood.
Gimme a break!
Most Us citizens not only don`t know but don`t care about what`s going on 2 inches away from their noses, they certainly don`t have a clue about were Beirut is geographically .
They will ,though, when the Us Government starts sending US troops to help Israel (never to help Lebanon), so they can have a certain idea of where Cheney and Bush` business corporations will be "rebuilding" the cities,as they did and are still doing in Iraq.
Sorry folks...

The reason is not so much that the United States provides weapons to Israel, it is especially that the United States is the only country of UNO which opposed a cease-fire in spite of human civilians lives. And it seems that it is not Israel which decides conditions of the cease-fire but US, therefore one ends up considering it is US which directs this war, then this humanitarian aid has no sense and US seems to be a bit dual personality, you know, this psychosis.

Get this! u’s’a creates terrorism by creating terrorists trained up by cia and fbi and other crap organizations that are nothing but terrorist camps both on u’s’ soil and abroad. Example, both bin laden and saddam hussein have been trained by cia in and out of the usa and they were posted to their position, and these posts have been attacked and invaded by u's'a, how many others like bin laden and saddam did cia train and post to their positions around the world so that they can be attacked and invaded depending on the cia agenda.

my point of view... basically... they bombed them with US made bombs...so ...US was helping those people bombing them...and now they want to help them... i would refuse the help too... on one side they're killing them....and on the other they're helping....no sense whatsoever... u either help or dont.. i mean you can't be on both sides... my opinion....!!!
