It has become evident to me that there is an abundance of hatred, anti-semitism and racism out there and yet, we would all prefer to live in a peaceful world. My question: if you are so filled with hate are you contributing to a peaceful world or are you instigating more hatred, violence and war.

Be aware: this is the world you are leaving your children. Are you proud of what you are teaching them.

Hey, when you mention anti-semitism, don't forget to also mention anti-islamism, or explain why that doesn't deserve condemnation just as strongly.

Defining who or what is evil, is part of the solution.
However, the facts are definitely not given to us in a fair and balanced way, and just because some media channel uses it as its tag line that they are, doesn't mean they are..

Okay, I am standing here on my soap box and I'm going to tell you what I think. I am a women, wife, mother of 4 and damn good at all three. I teach my children to be kind to others, don't look at what they have, wear, look like on the outside, but like them for what they have on the inside. I believe in talking to people in elevators, at the stores, waiting rooms, even though I don't know them and I believe in helping people when they need it. A couple of years ago, I was waiting in my car in a MacDonald's drive-thru and the women in front of me in line, left her trunck open after putting groceries in, I put my car in park, got out, went to her window and told her that it was open. She was about to get out of the car and put it down, so I told her not to, that I was going back to my car and would close it for her. I did that because I want to think that someone would do it for me and, like I said, I try to help people when needed. Can you guess what she did? She paid for my order!!! She didn't have to and I didn't expect her to do it. By the way, my order was under $5.00. But, she did. Now, how many people would look at that situation and laugh or just let her drive off and leave it open. If she was to be driving down the road, and her trunck flew open, caused an accident, how many people would sue her or her insurance company for obscene amounts of money?

Okay with that said, I guess that I try to be a good kind person and teach my kids to do the same but, if people as whole communities don't do it, then we are all part of the problem. Not the solution.
