That sounds like the best arrangement ever. It is ideal because you both have your own space to get away when you need to. How have the kids handled this? My next relationship will be similar. I need to have my own home separate from his to keep me sane.

Some people would see that as the ideal relationship. Me on the other hand, I love waking up next to my husband every day. I can't imagine my life without him there at night either. Think of all the extras you could have if you combined your lives into supporting only one household... the possibilities alone would be endless.

HEY , are the kids in one household and you two in the other? or is your significant other living in the other house by self? Or better yet , you are alone and they are all together in the other home! I think the last would work for me. Congrats.
