It's white shoes that you can't wear after labor day. You can wear as much white (shirt, pants, dress) as you want.

OK, just wondering who says you can't wear white after labor day? I'd like to know. I wear whatever color I want whenever I want. So go for it, I don't care and I haven't been arrested yet.

Yes you can wear white. Winter white would be perfect. I believe the reason people don't wear white is because of the weather. Example, wearing black in the summer attracts more heat, but some people still wear it.

Yes you can!!!
I don't really get it because right after LABOR DAY your waiting for labor day to come again so it doesn't really matter.
That rule is only a rule that only applies in HOLLYWOOD and for famous stars.

"What Not to Wear" show says absolutely you can, but that doesn't mean you should. It's whatever you're comfortable with. When I lived in the Midwest, absolutely not. I live on the West Coast now and it's absolutely yes.

Look on the calendar and see when summer actually ends and then I think you would change over to a fall/winter white.

Yes -- you can wear any color, any time of the year. Those old-fashioned rules are for the oppressed. Fashion is meant to be an expression of self -- not to oppress people!
