A lot of women are coming to the same conclusion. There is something so false about it...and we have unwittingly played right into it. We weren't put on this earth to be the object of some man's gratification. The only way we can change it is by changing ourselves...one at a time...and band together to send our messages to the media moguls. I am seeing more and more of this...and I am convinced it is a move toward something much more real and positive. It is time we viewed women exactly as they are. We come in all shapes and sizes; are boobs aren't plastic; and we aren't air-brushed perfection...so why do we emulate it? For the attention? It is the wrong kind of attention. Let them fall in love with our hearts, our minds, our souls...then we have something meaningful. There is a whole generation of young men who don't even know what a real woman looks like...he is seeing the same images we are. Thank you for bringing this up. We have to find our appeal to the opposite sex through who we are as a person. Nothing less and nothing more. In some strange kinda way, I suspect a lot of "real" men feel the same way.

Some of us just look hot without the media pressuring us. Try to find some pics of celebs w/out makeup. That will make you feel better.

I think it's horrible. Especially on the teenage girls today. It pressures them to weigh 90 pounds in order to look their best.
What a lot of them don't understand is that the pictures they see in the magazines have been airbrushed. THEY don't even look that Way ! But it puts a sort of pressure on women of all ages to try to look the same way as they do.
Talk about Mission Impossible!!!

properly i do no longer prefer to narrate this to race. You reported your nieces boyfriend exchange into clever and he would be making good funds quickly on account that he's going to be psychiatrist. and you besides mght reported he shows her off to his friends and he's extremely a douche, good? i think of maximum females (even with race) have an interest in a**holes. they like the project. they like to be the single to alter him into an excellent guy. and of path she is going to stay with him if he's going to help her financially, good? yet to respond to your question approximately race, i'm a non-white female dating a white guy and that i do no longer think of he's grotesque. i think of he isn't any doubt one in all the main tasty adult men on the earth. i assume elegance is interior the attention of the beholder.

It makes me watch Monique's Fat Chance and then I feel better about myself because it helps me remember there are more fat people than there are skinny people right now.
