I am usually pretty normal, 28 day cycle. Had a regular period in June, usually lasts about 5 days. So far, all is fine. In July, it started but I noticed it was a lot shorter, about 2 days and somewhat lighter than the norm. After that time, I have been having nausea (not too great though), headaches (sometimes really bad), fatigue, lightheadedness, etc. So then yesterday, I noticed very little, just a drop or two of brownish discharge and then another drop today. Some say that they have this right before their perios, well my thing is this, I have never had this right before my period and my "norm" period shouldn't be until around the 10 or so of Aug.

Also, I am on a low dose borth control pill. I must say though I sometimes forget to take a dose so I do know the notion of pregnancy is there. If I were, it is okay. I am in a committed relationship so he/she would be welcomed.
What kind of discharge does this sound like and does it sound normal? Have had some light cramping too.

Just for the record since some has asked, I have been on the pill for about 6 years now. I take no other medications.

I just found out that I am 10 wks pregnant a week ago and what you just described is the same exact thing that was happening to be before I found out I was pregnant. I got a cheap walmart brand test and it worked just fine. The next day I went to the health dept and had it confirmed. There is a huge chance that you may be pregnant.

Wow, you have a lot going on there. I don't have all the facts, but I can suggest this - the low dose birth control pills can certainly be playing a factor in the discharge, nausea, fatigue, etc. You don't say how long you have been on this low dose pill, but I believe it's a factor. You are probably not pregnant. Visit these websites. I found some very, very practical information with regard to determining when a woman ovulates (no pregnancy is happening unless you are ovulating) and we don't always know when that is. I found out that I only ovulated about 5 times a year - yet, I was still have a cycle here and there. The female body is unique and wonderfully made and each woman is different. I hope that you find the answers you need, if not in the website- please make sure you consult your physician. BC pills can be funny little monsters - sometimes they have to be adjusted. Low level indicates that your body is not in need of a lot of estrogen- but it could be interfering with something else you may be taking. (other meds can change the chemistry in our systems). You might just be reacting to the bc.

it sounds as though you could possibly b late or miscarrying an early pregnancy. However you may be still pregnant, but you won't know until august.I have 7 children all natural births and i have experienced some of the symptoms you possess.you can take an e.p.t pregnancy test at this point and you can get a positive or negative reading at this point.Nonetheless go to a doctor early for the sake of prenatal care.Do e.p.t first. Also if you are not pregnant and do not want to be take those pills everyday at the same time. If you want to be pregnant lay off the pills! They will destroy a fetus.

It sounds like one of two things. Depending on how long you've been taking low dose hormone, that could be the cause. Sometimes, when you first start taking them, they cause these kind of symptoms (i.e. irregular discharge, abnormal bleeding, etc.)

You could also be pregnant, since you said that sometimes you accidentally skip a day. I would just take a pregnancy test to rule out that possibility. If you are, congratulations. If not, then you would need to speak to your gynocologist, and see if you need a few tests. Good Luck.

The brownish spotting could be implantation bleeding which is normal. When I was pregnant with my daughter I had cramping around the time when I was supposed to have my period so that is normal too. I would suggest getting a pregnancy test to ease your mind. If you are pregnant congratulations and the best is yet to come!
