I don't see why not. I don't have a problem with it. I suspect, however, that you are actually asking whether or not it is societally acceptable. I would say, probably not. Anyone who does decide to shave should be prepared for some odd questions and strange looks. Also, as a girl, I can tell you that shaving really is not an enjoyable thing to do. I would suggest leaving your hair where it is. It's there for a reason. If it is too long, trim it, don't shave.

It's a free country. Body builders and bicycle racers and swimmers do it all the time. It's his body let him do as he pleases.
