Yes. It might have something to do with the quality of life, or the quality of the food, or it might just be the skin quality that people inherit from their ancestors...!

Many Asian people nowadays are pretty tall, and even if they weren't - being short doesn't make someone look young if their face is shrivelled up like a dried prune...!

Yes, Asian teens look younger in comparison with their western sisters and brothers. I think it's because Asians are known to have more delicate features and live relaxed lives. It is uncommon to hear of Asian teens moving out of home and living on their own, although some from poor families might have part-time jobs to keep going. All in all, most live as extended familes much into their adulthood, hence they have a lot more to smile about.

Yes Asian teen definately look younger than white teenagers. Being Indian myself, I'm always mistaken for being 2 or 3 years younger than I really am. If you are talking about asians who live in asia, then i think that the way they are raised has a bit to do with it. When raised in Asia, families there try to preserve the childish innocense a lot longer than it is here in America.

In my experience asians always look younger no matter what age range you look at. Their skin seems more wrinkle resistant. Even teenagers have some skin texturing from sun exposure, but asians seem less affected by it.

I also heard on NPR that asians have different earwax texture (sort of crystaline) and sweat less. Maybe those things are all related somehow?
