First of all, if you think cheerleading isnt a sport then seriously you need to go to like a weeks worth of cheerleading practice. I guarentee you will be out of breath, sore, and you will have bruises everywhere. You might even have sprained your wrist or ankle or maybe even have broken you back doing a twist down from a full scorpian. If you had to be a cheerleader for one year you would defiantly appreciate what we do. Now I have to say that cheerleading is defiantly not the most dangerous sport...but it is defiantly a sport. We compete against other teams, we condition all the time in addition to our 2-4 hour practices, and we brake bones just like every other sport. The only we dont do is throw around a football, basketball, baseball, lacrosse ball, or soccer ball. But we do throw actual people in the air. So I dare you to be a cheerleader.

Definitely a sport.
I was a 4 sport athlete in High School & played baseball & basketball at the Division 1 level.
Some of my buddies were on the cheerleading squad and I gave it a try. Tough work!
As far as most dangerous... I am sure the Winter Olympic sport of curling has more injuries per year than any other sport! HA!

No. To me a sport is when two teams go up againts each other, and one side has the advantage of doing something to counter the other team. For example in football one side has the opportunity the score a touchdown and the other side has the ability to stop them. Cheerleading is more of a competition. One team does their thing first then the other does their thing, and it is a matter of who performed best. One cheerleading squad cannot interfer with the others routine.

Cheerleading is a sport no doubt about it. My daughter is a cheerleader and the hours of practice is unbelievable, she has had sprained ankles and wrists, pulled and torn tendons. It is dangerous and girls have died, but I don't know if it's the most dangerous I don't know what is maybe Rugby

I think it is just a form of entertainment. I don't really think it is a sport. And please it not the most dangerous sports in the world. About Football(American), Hockey, Rugby). the only thing i think is dangerous is When the cherleaders are thrown up in the Air. Every sports has its casualties that is the price sportsmen and women are willing to pay when they do a sport.
