You are so young. There will probably be a BUNCH more guys that you just can't live without between now and when you finally get married. Now, before you think I'm an old "fuddyduddy" and don't understand.....let me tell you this. I ended up MARRYING the guy I fell in love with when I was 14 and he was 6 months younger than me. SO, I don't think you are being silly!

But, here is my advice. Take things slow. It's WAY too early to think about anything LONG TERM. If you and this guy are meant to be....it will happen! Trust me! My hubby and I didn't live in the same town at first either so we drifted apart for several years. He looked me up when I was in college and we dated a couple of times, but I was really infatuated with some other guy at the time. ~A couple more years passed....and I looked HIM up and this time we stayed together. We married when I was 24 and he was 23. It's been 10 years and we have a great marriage and 3 kids.

So, my suggestion is...write to each other....keep the letters `cause you just might marry the guy someday like I did! Email back and forth.....send pics or whatever. A long distance relationship can be fun at your age....there isn't as much pressure....and when you get my age (in you 30's) you'll have fond memories of this time in your life.

Have fun right now. I dated a LOT of guys in between dating my future husband. And he dated plenty of girls as well. It just helped us know that we were meant to be.....we could never find anyone else we liked as much as each other!

Good Luck!

Not much you can do at your age. But like others have said on here since you are young don't completely lock yourself into this relationship. Use all the wonderful technology and write back and forth with emails, chat on the web, write letters just keep in touch. If he is the one and years later you are still feeling the way u do now and still keeping in touch then you have a keeper. In the meantime still live your life to the fullest and date and have fun and if he is still there years later then you know it was meant to be all along.

Write each other e-mails; maybe get web cameras. People have maintained relationships through letters until they see if they really truly want to be together forever(and are old enough to be together).

Remember to do your homework, too. If not you will never graduate from High School. Once you graduate you can go to College together.
