Depending on the length of your cycle, absolutely you could. You start counting the length of your cycle from the first day of your period. If you bleed for 5 days and have sex 4 days later, you're already on day 9. If you have short cycles, you could easily ovulate around day 10-12 and sperm can live in your reproductive tract waiting for ovulation for up to 5 days if fertile conditions are present (so even itf you're the "average" woman who ovulates perfectly on day 14, you're taking a risk.) Voila, you're pregnant.

If you don't want to get pregnant, use protection every time you have sex. Period.

NO, not at all, as ovulation takes place on 14th day after period ( if you have regular 28 day cycle) there is no question of ovulation 2-4 days after period in fact it is safest time to have unprotected sex
