where is the best place on the body to get a tattoo?

This is a very personnal choice. You have to look at what your trying to accomplish by this. Are you going for personnal or show offish. How big is the tattoo? Are you considering later in life. Do you want something descret? Think hard about your life. This has to be a thought out decision, not just a rush choice. Great tattoos have stories,bad tattoos will haunt you. I hope this is something you really want. Don't go to someone you don't trust and know their work. Cover-ups are painful and costly.

I have several and at 41 I wish I had not done all the art work,I suggest if this is your first get it some where that you can cover if you want later,think ahead your body is going to wrinkle and tats fade and distort with age,choose wisely.

no where. tattoos are ugly and unatractive.
the worst would be the lower back or face.

in my experience it's the back. i have two there and five others. prehaps thats my personal favorite for it's content more than anything. it was pretty painful. my least painful spot was my arms (think biceps)
