It must be GOOD and PHILOSOPHICAL, and I'm giving away the points to someone in the gay community, so please be GLBT.

I'm not saying straight people can't be philosophical, I'm SAYING I am a transsexual, I'm in the GLBT section and I wanna be nice to my brothers and sisters and give THEM 10 points..is that ok? It's called "COMMUNITY"

What encompasses the essence of consciousness?
Are we purely what is in our brain?
Made up of the memories and experiences we've encountered in life...the things we've learned and commited to memory
Or are we purely our soul?
Where the brain is just another organ in our body used as a tool.
What defines YOU? Is the inner voice inside of you coming from your brain, or is it coming from your soul?

With some parts of the country opening GLBT retirement communities, can one be inclined to feel things maybe going in a positive direction toward acceptance toward us and the things we desparately seek?

If a gay or trans person falls in the woods and there's no one around to hear it . . . ? Just kidding. How about this: if we woke up tomorrow and 10% of the population was straight (and 90% gay or bi), would most of the 90% be heterophobic? And how would they justify this behavior? For example, would they use religion or insist that heterosexuality is a chosen lifestyle?

Great philosophical idea: "Does simultaneity exist?"
Suppose we can read each other's minds accurately. Suppose I go on a space flight 100 million miles away, which is about eight light minutes.
Would you read my throughts in REAL TIME or would it take eight minutes for the mind reading? If you could continue to read my mind in real time, then that would be "simultaneous."
This is a "boss" philosophical and physics question with a lot of spiritual fallout to it.

Here is a GOOD philosophical question - why are you only singling out gays?
Are you implying straight people are incapable of being philosophical? Or perhaps that only gays view these questions?
Ponder that will you...

To answer your query, I shall give you one of my own:
Is it incompatible to be an LGBT person of faith in a closed-to-LGBT faith tradition? Do you think that people can truly integrate their faith and their sexual orientation, or are they practicing doublethink?
