It's quite misleading to compare Sun signs alone. You need to draw up birthcharts of both individuals and then compare them through a method called Synastry. You take into account the areas of the charts that represent oneself and relationships with others. For example:
Venus in a man's chart indicates the type of woman he is attracted to.
Mars in a woman's chart indicates the type of man the woman is attracted to.
Mercury - an important indicator of communication between the individuals.
The Moon - represents emotions and homely attributes.
Saturn - can show how stable the relationship might be.
The houses of the chart show the areas of life such as self, marriage, sex, children and romance, friendship, home and family, shared finances etc., which all come into play with relationships.
The Elements of the planets and points are also very informative - Fire and Air are Expressive, whilst Water and Earth are more Passive.
Simply comparing Sun signs won't do at all!

Don't worry about that snotty answer! You are an Aquarian, being born under the sign of Aquarius (and spelt it correctly)
Ignore any other answers. Your sign is most compatible with that of Libra and Gemini. Cancer, Saggitarius, Aries, Aquarius and Pisces are okay,Virgo and Scorpio shaky and Taurus, Leo and Capricorn being huge no-nos.

Aquarius's are most compatiable with another aquarius's. Next it's Libra.
But Aquarius's are the most outgoing of the signs, and they don't let pesky things like reality muck up their plans. Date who you want, aquarius's tend to come out on top. :-)

I'm an Aries and my husband of 10 years is Aquarius. We get along great. We have a few disagreements, mainly about money. He spends too much on junk. LOL Bedroom stuff is awesome. We complement each other very well.

Darling you have spelled Aquarian correctly....hee hee ha! Anyway, we tend to be "different" to some folks so I would have to say, stick with a most stable sign like, Taurus! No Scorpios...Ever!

You must look to the whole chart to see what type of people you are attracted to not just your own sun sign and the other person's sun sign.
The 1st house is you, your personality and appearance.
The 5th house rules love affairs.
The 7th house rules partnerships.
The 8th house rules sexuality.
What planets are in the above houses and what aspects do they make? What signs are those planets in? What sign is on the cusp of those houses? What elements (fire, earth, air & water) and qualities (cardinal, fixed & mutuable) are involved? Sun and Moon aspects?
For a female's chart you can look to the Sun and Mars and their aspects for what types of males they are attracted to.
For a male's chart you and look to the Moon and Venus and their aspects for what types of females they are attracted to.

Any sign can be with any other sign. It all depends on your whole chart, based on your DATE, PLACE, EXACT TIME of birth, not just your Sun signs.
Your whole chart then is then compared to the other person's whole chart using a technique called Synastry.
The aspects between each other's planets and points must be looked at and interpreted. The planets in each others houses must be looked at and interpreted, both ways. Affinities must be looked for. It's not simple to a layperson, but it is to people who are educated in Astrology terminology.
Sun sign horoscopes are absolutely inaccurate to determine compatibility between two people.
