Invalid Friend ID.
This user has either cancelled their membership, or their account has been deleted.
thats the message i got when i logged on but i can still recieve mail. 90% of my friends have the same problem

There's a few things going on.
First, the physical. MySpace is hosted in California, home of the rolling blackout. With the temps as high as they are, and the usage of electricity as high as it is, they either roll blackouts or they risk extended service outages. It sucks.
Then, there's the political. Since MySpace was purchased by News Corp., parent of Fox, the site has done some censoring of hosted pages. Several people I heard over the weekend, for example, noted that their anti-Bush rhetoric was removed after the buyout.

Well.. Im not sure.. but its crazy. It wouln't let me log in the first time I tried, second time it acting like it log in but told me that the friend Id was cancelled or deleted. So I went to search to see if I was on there.. found my pic.. click on it and it said the same thing again. So.. went and found a friend and it said the same thing.. It's just having some moments today I think.

You're account has not been deleted. Myspace has backup copies of everyone's accounts.
Look in the upper-right corner of the page and you'll see "Sign OUT". This means you are logged in or it wouldn't be there.
This is a message I copied off of their page "This profile is undergoing routine maintenance. We apologize for the inconvenience!"
Be patient they'll have it up and running in no time.

there moving some database around ut there working on it.. thats why when you try to log in it says invalid user and it has been deleted .. . its really not deleted there just moving things around on the system
