why is it that gay guys act so girly? Do they want to be girls? There is nothing worse then seeing a guy act like a girl. If they wanna be gay, fine. But why do they have to act so feminine. It's just gross.

Ermm, what does acting girlie mean. define boys behaviour from girls behaviour please. Some straight men are very in touch with their feminine side and would actually take offense to what you have wriiten here...
with reference to your additional comment. Your arguement is weak. Your perception of a 'real' man is not yours, but one which has been socially constructed. For example: through media(movies, normal tv etc) or magazines, to name a few.
go home little boy, you're not ready for the real world...

There's a quiet minority who do this because they're being themselves. Also, I'm going to assume you aren't talking about transgirls, and if you are you need to educate yourself and back off. I'll also assume you're not talking about drag queens, and even that you know the difference between a drag queen and a transgirl.
Fact is, it's become a stereotype which means several things:
1. You are more likely to notice things that reinforce the stereotype, and less likely to notice those that don't.
2. You are less likely to REMEMBER even those things you did notice that don't reflect the stereotype.
3. Sometimes, there's a self-fulfilling prophecy. I'm not so sure that applies here, but sometimes your behavior can subconsciously effect others to encourage them to behave in a manner that you're expecting.
Also, there are some people who do it on purpose. In a minority group that is not readily visible, some people see it as a way of finding other gay people. Still others might see it as filtering out people who aren't so gay friendly without having to verbally disclose anything. And, sadly, some (especially younger) people think that because they're gay, they need to do that to fit in. This last, I THINK is happening less and less.

Well why do some women act like men, why do girls act like b*tches. It is all in who you are, not every gay man is like that. I can line up 50 men and half of them you wouldnt be able to tell were gay just by looking at them. Stop hating people for who they are, some people may get sick by what you do.

1st a small number of gay men put forth a more feminine persona. It's their right and has absolutely no effect on the live of others, even Bigoted homophobes like you. I suggest you draw your shades and lock your doors through out any books TVs or radios you have so you wont be have to see or hear the diverse world in-which we live.

They need to compete with the ladies for attention. For a straight man like me, my opinion is THEY WILL NEVER WIN A TRUE BLUE 100% WOMAN.
A 100% woman is too original and there are not ways (absolutely no!!) for these poor gays to emulate or act like her.

you are stereotyping. not all gay men are feminine looking and not all lesbians are buch types. just like not all straight women are feminine and not all straight men are jock types.
there are gays and lesbians out there that you could not pick out of a crowd.
why do people stereotype? why do people hate? just ignore the people who bug you. i am sure that there are people out there in the world who absolutely cannot stand you. they live with it. the world still turns.
