it's happened to me before, and I'm not old either. I've also walked into a room and couldn't remember if I was walking into the room or leaving it. Of course, I make phone calls all the time and then forget who I am calling.

Did you ever call anybody on the phone, and in that two seconds between hitting the last number and the phone ringing, you suddenly can't remember who you just called or why?
Imagine being George Bush and having that same exact feeling for sixty years nonstop.
If he can run the world, I'm sure you're going to be alright.
Well, that is IF you can call what he's doing running the world. It's more like watching a drunken chimp driving in the Indy 500.

It's not that bad. It's happened to me before and I'm only a teen. It happens when you forget what your doing (just like when you forget what you were gonna say.) When that happens, just stop and think for a minute about why you wanted to go up or down. Soon you'll figure it out. lol.

The truth here is that when your going up or down stairs your equilibrium has to kind of reset because your moving up and down so.. to answer your question your brain kind of shuts down and you lose your direction.... yes it is very scary

Sometimes I walk into the hallway and forget where I was going or what I was going after. It gets on my nerves because it's usually something important but I eventually remember......most of the time.

If you had to stop for such a long breather that you forgot if you were going up or down, then you were going up, because going down doesn't take that much out of you. ;)

itty, itty, itty, you stopped to think and forgot to start again didn't you? No, I don't think you are losing it, just preoccupied. Be thankful you didn't take a sip of your Nestea Cool at the time.
