I noticed a pus-like discharge in my son's urine. I don't think it could be an STD because him and his girlfriend have been together since they were freshmen in highschool. I hope he hasn't cheated on her, but the problem is I don't want to bring that subject up because it might turn out that SHE is the one who cheated on him. That would break his heart. Then there's the medical part. What should we do to treat this? He doesn't look like it hurts WHILE he's peeing, but the tip looks a bit redder than usual.

Well, it sounds to me like your son might have a "staph" infection. That's what you call any infection of the johnson, you know, the cock. It's his staff man! Keep watchin' that tip and keep on watchin' that boy pee.

does it really matter "what kind" of infection it is?
I mean, only a doctor can make that determination.
The fact is you need to get your son to the doctor as quickly as possible. The longer you wait, the longer the infection will take to get rid of, plus the infection might spread thru the body and cause some organs to be hurt.

It does sound like STD but a visit to a doctor is advisable, and without much delay to confirm.

A friend had similar symptom and was hospitalised for five days to undergo checkups and treatments. His was not STD as the results turned out negative, but merely urinary tract infection.
