My guess is that while some people are homophobic simply because that is what they were taught, some people are homophobic because of their own sexuality. Sexuality is something that causes fear and alarm in our society.
Of course, it's a cop-out to say that all homophobic people are really gay. There's lots of reasons one becomes homophobic. It's also interesting that way more males are homophobic than females.

I think because they probably think about it a great deal because they cant do it.So there fantasy's run wild !
Some are so deep in the closet their shelf paper,
its a pity because it only increases their unhappiness so they tend to spit their vile thoughts onto here, because its safe and no one really can take much action against them.
They get there jollys from our reaction to their nasty posts.
Its more sad than anything else ,and their missing there lives.

Homophobes tend to be homosexual because of society/family taboos against it, which they must hide in order to shelter themselves and to others, from the reality. By acting violently and hating homosexuals, they believe they are distancing themselves from their true instincts. Unfortunately to them, these urges and gay tendancies are clearly visible in experiements and studies. Men/women who are not threatened by homosexuality had almost no homosexual tendancies. Interesting indeed.

Most homophobic people are obsessed with homosexual sex. They're always talking about how "gross" they think it is. If this is the case, why are they always the ones bringing it up? Gay people are not usually asking about straight sex.
