I am a white woman dating a black man for three years. My reason for dating him is very simple. We worked together for a year and became very good friends. We both were single parents and had a lot in common. So one night we took the boys to Chuck E. Cheese. I was in awe of the way he was with his son. He later told me that seeing me with my son, attracted him even more. We started talking on the phone and eventually started dating. We are planning on getting married. The race issue is always there. he grew up in Gary, Indiana which is 98% black. I grew up in an all-white town. So we have had to overcome a lot of issues with race, but we love each other and don't care what anyone else says. I know it is typical for a white girl to date a black guy once he has come up, but we both started with nothing and are advancing as a couple. We are just buying our first house together. So that is my reason, I fell in love with him. Not because I thought he had a big dic* or that he could probably fu*k good, and he didn't date me because he thought I was freaky or that I would make him sandwiches. we just love each other, plain and simple. That's the way it should be.

If you didn't want your answers to be about race, why include races in the question? Everyone finds different things attractive.
I don't need any of the responses that are on the level of race shouldn't be an issue any more because it is 2006. ???????? I'm sorry if I missunderstood this statement. On a silly note, I live in a town in which nearly everyone of the same race is related, so we opt to either look outside the community or into a bi-racial relationship.

To most black men having a white women is like a white guy having a Ferrari. Most white guys can't get the Ferrari either but if we are half decent looking and make good money we can get a white girl anytime we want. They go out of their way in all aspects to acquire the women. I have noticed that they are very persistent. Women in general desire attention and I assume are flattered by this attention and eventually give in. When a black guy does get a white woman they show them off just like they got that Ferarri. Most white guys don't persue a women who shows no interest in them. Mainly because we've learned that in most cases it's not worth the effort. To be honest, if they weren't needed for sexual pleasure I could do without them entirely. They get on my nerves.

This has been an argument around me additionally. i've got faith the white females that date black adult males completely have a low self-worth. they are many times the girls that are obese with pasty white pores and skin which at the instant are not very eye-catching. those i comprehend do not think of they deserve white adult males or that they are not stable adequate. it quite is not stable for all people to have low self-worth, it quite is not correct what you look as though. From what i've got considered additionally, it quite is a type in extreme college. many times short lived after commencement. females finally lose interest of being mistreated and the adult males many times advance up. Why do not many white adult males date black females?

While I'm actually 3/4 hispanic, (but I look white) and I dated a black guy before. We went to the mall a few times and just got the ugliest looks from a group of black girls! I don't understand why they thought I didn't have a right to be with him...like he was their property b/c he was black. He obviously like me, too. I think it might be the lips...and the butt....white guys just don't have that. But, I can't say it's my prefrence. I don't have a prefrence. The father of my children is hispanic. I've dated one white guy...ever. I just want to know why people have a problem with that...and not blacks and asians dating...or black and mexicans. My mom is 100% hispanic and my step-father is black, and they never got any second glances.

Not all girls care love black men. I am married to a white man. If I had met a black man who I loved for who he was then I would have married him instead. I looked for a person that God chose for me and I knew when I met him who he was.
Their is nothing about an interracial marriage. God did make comment to Israel about them not doing so but it wasn't because of the race issue it was because of their beliefs. They didn't believe in God and let's be honest: you can say that you are going to change a person's character but 9 times out of 10 they change you. God feared that the Israelites would be changed. And when they did marry interracially people of other beliefs they did adopt the others beliefs.
Their is nothing wrong with a white girl caring for a black guy.

I am an older white woman and the one I see is a black man but I don't see race. My kids don't see race. It isn't issue in my home or people I consider true friends. The rest of people's opinions really don't matter. I see him because I am happy with him as a person and not a color.

I think it's all a matter of what you attracted to. I like tall men with dark hair and light eyes. I don't limit myself to only dating this type of male but that's personally what lights my base self the most. Maybe some it does have to do with feeling that they're rebelling but I think in this day and age it has more to do with your personal attraction and to what physical type you're attracted.
