Change is good maybe those countires will start to flourish..

God awful...

People still live under the mistaken assumption that if one party slips up - the left in this case - the worse party, the conservatives, will set the course straight, which is terribly, terribly wrong.

I don't think it is necessarily a vote for the conservatives, but a vote against the respective party in charge. Until people stop being cowards and vote more progressively, it will be this see-saw back and forth between the moderates until we finally hit rock bottom.

Canada does not have a President, but rather a Prime Minister, and I say good, because it is the conservatives that make a country financially more viable.
