I woke up this morning to a dead crab and half his shell in my albino frogs mouth. Now he just stays at the top of the tank.. is it possible he killed the crab?

If it is an albino Africanclawed toed frog, yes. it is very possible.
They are highly agreesive animals that will eat anything they can fit in their mouths, including each other.

First of all, the only aquatic frog that comes in an albino variety is the African clawed frog.
If you were to look up to behaviors of this frog, you would see that they will eat pretty much anything they can fit in their mouths, including smaller fish. It's quite rare, however, for them to go after a crab. But yes, he probably did kill the crab.
Feed your frog regularly with tubifex worms and bloodworms, as well as beefheart and other meat-based food. If he's big enough, try feeding earthworms or mealworms.

the frog stays at top of tank or crab? the crab is dead for one thing water frogs eat anything u put in the thats small enough to squeeze in the mouth. My water frog albino (african clawed frog and all other ones) eat my guppies, dalmasion fish, algea eater, snail, crab... exc. one of them ate a baby frog of the same kind cause it was small and got in the way doring feeding. those frogs are blind if you didn't know and can only feel things, if it feels like its food, they eat it. people get worried all the time because there water frogs eat the rocks (the frog isn't comiting suicide it wont kill them they thought it was food) so he probeblly ate the crab. good luck with the frog theyr soooo cute, prob dont put any more lil crabs in there lol. any questions email me at sidesadle11@yahoo.com

Albino or not albino, it doesn't matter they both eat the smae thing. You sould get them live ghost shrimp. They are like 10 cents each and you can get them anywhere that sells fish.

Mine enjoys turtle food sticks, dried baby shrimp, and fresh earth worms. But, yes she will eat anything!

Yeap! If they can fit it in their mouth they will eat it. They will eat plankton, brime shrimp, and pretty much any fish foods.
