Of course, light provides heat, even though how low amount of heat...
So the freezer has a little light because it doesn't need a lot of heat...
As you will know, of course, the freezer items are WAY colder than the fridge items...

most people don't go in the freezer at night like they do the fridge, freezer are mostly used for storing bulk frozen foods
