Neither is better - just different
If you like over consumption and urban squall... the U.S. is your place... if you like something a little less in your face, but still rich of culture and heritage... India could be your place.

I have never been to India, but I know someone from there. He moved to America and according to him it is much better here. He says that in India people are either really rich or really poor, and unless you are one of the rich life is not so pleasant. Of course to me it seems like America is becoming more and more that way. You know, haves and have nots.

I myself am an Indian and I hate being in India.
the very first cause is that India is filled with nasty politics. you just have to be a spectator to all the vices happening before your eyes and you cannot do anythign......the most recent example is the introduction if reservation system for OBCs.....there are thousands of examples like this.
people here spit here and there and make all the places a real hell and I hate those Indians who do this. I simply get out of this country as early as possible. all the places are so dirty. Oh god get me out of here!!!!!

Well, there are advantages and dis-advantages of both. For example, America has more job opportunities while India has more culture. Both are good,it depends how you think of it.

well i m american but i hav been to india. the thing i liked about india was its rich culture. but above all, there was one thing that humbled me........that, inspite of being poor and malnourished those people in their villages and slums had managed a smile on their faces. well all i can say is that God is Great!
