In San Francisco: Pier 39 (including the aquarium); ferry trip on the bay; Ghirardelli Square; Chinatown; downtown (there's a cool mall near the Market St. BART Station, but can't remember what it's called); Ocean Beach; the zoo; drive down Lombard St; Golden Gate Park to see the new DeYoung Museum.
Sausalito: walk along the main street; nice views of the bay; good little places to eat and window shop.
Oakland: Lake Merritt; Children's Fairyland (still fun to go to); Oakland Museum.
Crockett and Port Costa: unique little East Bay towns with great views of the water.
Walnut Creek: shopping in and around Main Street, including Broadway Plaza.
Half Moon Bay: picturesque
Try any of these. Be careful, 'tho, in Oakland as the crime rate there is pretty bad.

check this out there are FREE concerts with Gate admission only But go to the earlier shows cuz the later ones have been geting canceled
