In order for my mom to let me get a gauge in my ear, she wants to make sure that the hole will eventually close. I tell her that it will. I hope I'm right??

You're right. It will close up, but not overnight. It will take some time.

My son gauged his ears so big that you could place a half dollar in the hole. He left them alone, and they healed. His ear lobes don't look deformed either.

How big will the hole be? The bigger the hole, the less likely it will be that it will close. Also, the longer you wear the gauge or earrings, the chance of closure decreases. As a last resort, a plastic surgeon could close the hole, reshape the ear lobe and remove any scars.

Also, how old are you? And do you want a gauge in your ear, a ring in your nose and a tatto on your wrist at the law office twenty years from now? If you do, then that's fine, but think about where you will be in twenty years before you do this.

no.... it depends on how long you've had the gauge in your ear. If your ear is already pierced for like 6 months to a year, the hole is permanent. If you gauge the ear, the already permanent hole is stretched even more. It wont close back up once the ear is healed.... so.... you might wanna let ur mom know before she's like "u still got that big hole in your ear??"

If by gauge you mean those ever expanding rings, then no your ear won't close. I've seen guys that stretched their ear so much they had to have Dr 90210 surgically fix it. I've got peircing that I got 20 years ago and don't put earrings in, haven't closed up. Hope this helps.

Why do u wanna get it while u wanna get rid of it later? Dont waste ur time.. but it depends on how fresh it is.. if it was fresh.. it will close in a more quick time than an old one.. like one that u have for only one month is easier to close then one that u had for years

sure. My boyfriend exchange into in basic terms approximately or at tripple zeros and he exchange into waiting to get them to close completely effective. We the two had to downsize slowly do they did no longer shrink up and look like a bellybutton XD shop putting the subsequent length down and enable them to close slowly. desire this helps.
