PLEASE READ: It may be a sprain or something, but I want to know what parts of swimming will be harder (For example, flipturns, starts?) if any.

Yes it will hurt a lot so don't use your foot. Put a float between your feet and practice your pulling instead.

i think that flipturns and starts will be harder, but this is a good oppurtunity to work on strengthening your arms. i swim 3-5 days a week and my coach always works around injury by adjusting the set to using a pull-bouy or kickboard. in your case, i would use a pull bouy when you swim. hope i helped

yes it will. it will affect your swiming. have a doctor tell you exactly whats wrong so you can see how long you are actually out of commision. when you jump off the block ur putting more pressure on your foot and making it worse and the pointing your foot affects it. flip/turn your pushing against the wall........i suggest having youre doctor fully diagnos it.

take it from the girl who tried to play softball and do gymnastics with a b-r-o-k-e-n foot and toes...wasnt smart on my part
