When women are beautiful or rather have become beautiful, people are used to seeing them looking at their most beautiful. Such an image would have being complimented and have won rave reviews for they "work" for these ladies. It is "da" look. So naturally, these ladies would want to maintain this image so they can look beautiful as long as they can.
Obviously, they will need to continue visiting salons to maintain it. Hence the term for such people, "high maintenance".

Because beauty is only skin deep. They have to maintain maintain. Do you every see split ends, chipped nails, wrinkles, pimples or sagging anything. God only did so much. The rest is up to those beauties to keep us looking and jealous of how "EASY" they have it. Also money helps and those sugar daddies. Beauty ain't cheap.
