Sales people are driven by the chase/competition & victory.
Have them chase :
- a better territory
- recognition - monthly newsletter, quarterly bonus, annual "Cup"
- ask them to "be the expert" and share info about wins
- take their picture and put it up in the office (that'll motivate LOTS of them)
- get customer testimonials - frame 1 for office & 1 for rep
- they like to be real social, go out for drinks (ice tea, juice, water and soda pop are also drinks people!!!)
- give them a soap box and you can bet they'll stand on it
- perform a (not too mean) roast
