It appears that Israel has adopted the US preference for bombing the hell out of a city or country instead of doing the important surgical military work on the ground-rooting out terrorists house to house and from their military bunkers.
Israel claims to be attacking only military targets. This is clearly untrue, unless Israel is prepping the country for a full scale invasion and occupation-which is clearly not justified. Israel has been bombing and shelling all southern Lebanese towns, in most cases giving warning for the people to flee. But whole neighborhoods are being hit, hardly a show of discriminate bombing. In one case, after heeding a warning to flee, a column of Lebanese people and vehicles were attacked by Israeli jets.
maybe israel thinks they can do w/e the **** they want because America will support it? what i dont get is, WHY? Even the lebanese president wants to get rid of the hezbullah..but it seems like they wont give up...and they r strong enough to fight back.. and u cant legalize any kind of terrorism..a terrorism by israel is just as bad as one from al queda

Armies are not effective against hit and run warfare, and the proof is they have been fighting for fifty years. All they have accomplished is terrorizing citizens. The fustration over the tenacity of the "terrorists" is well understood and generates sympathy, deserved or no. To call symphitic countries "civil World" is an insult to the muslin world fighting a superior force with only what they haveTHEIR LIVES.
