I don't know if you know a great deal of the rationale about civil ceromonies (weddings for hetroxsexuals, civil partnerships for gays(however not strictly confined to any sexual persuasion, only qualification that the two people are of the same sex and are not in the prohibited cateogories as defined in law)in the U.K. - they are required to be SECULAR therefore no religious readings, hymns or anything connected with religion is allowed. This is not because of any anti-religious feelings on the part of the State, only that it is the Law to be secular.

i dont comprehend, yet why cant you have something religious?? I propose whats incorrect with gay human beings? they might desire to have the comparable rights as at once human beings and in case you needed a non secular analyzing you may desire to have the skill to have one! stable success with the civil partnership ceremony :)
