DNA stands for deoxyribonucleic acid..it is the blueprint all organisms. It tells our enzymes what to do through transcription and translation...which is protein sythesis..and enzymes are proteins. Enzymes catalyze chemical reactions, and tells our body what to do. Chromosomes are DNA, and they are located in our nucleus of our every cell. No 2 other people have the exact same DNA, except identical twins.

DNA is your genetic makeup, it's what make you, you. You get a set from both parents, and that then creates your own unique DNA.

a nuclic acid that carries the genetic information..it consists of two long chains of nucleotides twisted in a double helix and joined together by hidrogen bonds...these bonds join the complemetary bases... when the cell wants to replicate, the double heix must unfold and the hidrogen bonds break then a "semi-replicate" is made: the RNA.. which is used then for protein synthesis....
a chromosome is made up of two DNA.....

deoxyribonucleic acid. It's a large molecule, a collection of atoms. It is made of 4 chemical bases: cytosine, guanine, adenine, and tyrosine. The bases are connected to a sugar-phosphate backbone, in a sort of ladder formation. This ladder twists, forming a double helix.
