I am going to be really honest here. My first instinct is to judge fat people and look down on them for buying all the junk food.
But then, it is totally up to them and other slimmer people to decide what they buy and put in their trollies.
Of course, if the are so overweight it is dangerous to their health, they shouldnt buy so many crisps, chips and biccies.
But who doesnt like to indulge on these goodies once in a while!!
It is perfectly alright 2 splurge out on "fattening" foods occasionally I think. It is good 2 treat yourself. The point is control and not going overboard with the goodies.
Dont judge is my advice! Even to myself.
Let people, fat, skinny and average decide 4 themselves what it is they want to purchase at the supermarket:)!

Yes !
In fact it was only the other day outside a supermarket I saw a very very big couple with a trolley each laden to the brim with bottles of coke, chips etc. eating doughnuts from a bakery and drinking a large milkshake each. Yeah .....no wonders there.

Yes. I also find it highly annoying that whenever Gillian McKeith on You are what you eat visits a fat person, because their equally fat mother has called up the show because she is so worried about what her child is eating, you can guarentee as she walks into the persons house the mother and child are both eating a massive greasy fattening dinner that the mother has prepared for the kid? Its like, hello - are you stupid?

They've made a choice. I do resent seeing families panhandling while their kids are chowing down on $2 sodas and $3 bags of chips from the convenience store! Especially if they are fat.

Well, I certainly do not think they are fat due to "glands" or "genetic disorder" or any of the other excuses that I hear.
And I am not saying they cannot have a treat if they want one. But there is no reason to eat an entire pint of ice cream in one sitting.

I try not to judge people period, that's not our place. I just say, "Damn, I see why you look like that!" I usually catch them coming out of a buffet style restaurant or I'll see them sitting down and when their plate gets served, it's always some oversized entree that feeds like 4 adults. And again, I say, "Damn, that's why you look the way you do now!" I guess once they get so big, they just can't stop eating.

Well if your a judging kind of person. Of course when you see someone like that you automatically think "wow they must not even care about there appearance or making themselves feel better about themselves" but then you have to think maybe they are quite content with how they are or look and what they eat.

No, I find it hard not to judge fat people who ride on the motorized shopping carts. Have you no Shame?! Is a little walking gonna kill you?!

I can't say I'd notice. When I'm shopping I tend to focus on what I put in the cart rather than what other people have in theirs - unless they have children in the cart - why do people put kids in the body of the cart rather than in the child seat. But that's another topic.

honestly? the first thought that comes through my head is, "wow! i wish i afford to buy that many goodies!"
you know, everybody has things that comfort them when they're feeling down...unfortunately, the thing that comforts them the most is the thing that ends up depressing them...
fat people don't bug me and i don't really judge them for being fat...it's how they wear their clothes that bugs me....i can't stand to see a fat person wearing something tight...somehow, seeing rolls of skin hanging out is disgusting...but it's not just them...all kinds of people need to learn to dress according to their body size....dress appropriately...
