who like alternative rock and what band do you like?

"Alternative Rock" is a term that has not been used in years in many musical circles, but I guess it still encompasses anything that is not mainstream. It would be interesting to see what you consider "alt rock." I think Radiohead is one of the only original alternative bands who is still alternative. Something that is cool often becomes over popularized and is infultrated by the mainstream and eventually played on secretary rock stations. Green Day is a good example, they were once a fringe/alternative band who was popularized, played on Seinfeld, now even their more progressive music is played on secretary rock stations. Pearl Jam is another classical example of that.

So, I guess, Radiohead is my favorite.

I really like alternative anything- but mostly rock. I love the strokes and "juicebox" , I think they're amazing,

my fav band is prolly blink 182 if they still were a band but if that doesnt count my fav band is angels and airwaves and i lover alternative rock
