Go to the local drug store and buy a drug test kit. It's a urine test you can perform at home to tell if the child has drugs in their system, they cost between $40-$60. If you really think this was drugs, don't sit on it. The wad of foil could be anything, don't assume the worst. Talk to your child and listen to what they have to say, it could all be a misunderstanding. When the child is talking, really listen, use your gut. Have the kit handy when you talk so that the child knows your serious. Don't threaten, just question.
Good Luck!

You have to let them know you know, but in the right way and at the right time. The way you handle it will have to depend on the way you know your child will react to an accusation. You want to be able to put them in a situation where they have to admit to it if they are doing it. Always forcing a child to do things is not the best way for all kids! You will need to have good, hard evidence if you are going to accuse your child of doing something. I just try to stay as close to my kids as possible - even if it means, once in a while when they are acting strange, taking that extra parental step and going through a couple of drawers or looking under the bed, going through the closet and through coat pockets or what the case may be. My parents did it to me as a teenager and believe me I am a better person now because of it. I know alot of parents don't agree, but if you are not activily involved with your child's life, someone else will be and you probably won't approve of them. Good Luck!

sometimes you can use foil to make a make-shift bowl if you dont have a real one. He is probably just smoking pot. And I wouldnt worry about it, kids like to experiment, but if you suspect that he is doing hard drugs you should get on him!! FAST! Before he dies or goes to jail. And depending on his age, I highly doubt that he is doing Meth.

foil wadded up is generally going to be meth. watch your child for signs like mood swings, pail skin, not eating as much as ussual, and dramatic weight loss. if you see these signs and symptoms talk to your child and see about getting him or her help immediately.

HE or SHE may not admit rite away because they scared. Let them know, understand that thy can trust u and that they can come around any time . GOOD LUCK.

Communicate with him or her no lectures etc. Listen more than talk.

It's probably gum and/or condoms. Or maybe drugs.

Good luck with all that!
