They drink sea water. However, before it get absorbed in the body they remove the salt from it with special glands near the nose and throat. These glands also absorb some of the water to help them get rid of the salt. The mixture is then passed on to the animal's tear glands, where the salt is washed away and gets mixed with seawater.

This is also the reason why seals on land seem so sad. The tears on land mammals run into the nose, and they flow out of the nose or gets reabsorbed. The tears on seals (and other sea mammals) are discharged into the sea. When on land, the tears have nowhere to go except down the seal' face.

They get most of the water they need from the food they eat. Also, their kidneys are more effective at eliminating salt than human kidneys, so they can tolerate some salt water.

lol i thought i had a good knowledge on animals but that i never thinked about!!! but i dont see another way too drink water but too filter it

They get the equivalents from the food they eat. To my knowledge they (as other mammels) cannot ingest seawater.
