The greatest gift u can give her,is your friendship and to never re-offend in whatever u did.To prove that all her hard work has paid off.As for gifts am sure some lovely flowers and a really nice card with a caring verse would do the trick x,she would know ur grateful no matter what u gave, its the thought that counts,by the way well done keep up the good work x

You're lucky, my husband's probation officer took everything to violate him just so my husband has a sentence of 7 years.
Once he was arrested and released the same night because he had nothing to do with the drug bust, wrong place at the wrong time, but his PO said that he violated probation and got an automatic 7 years. The ones around here don't WORK and HELP people keep on the right path, they just wait to see what they can through them in prison for.

I would suggest giving her a gift certificate to the Mall and a very nice card. Unless you know what she collects that would be the best way to go without overstepping your boundries. You should consider yourself fortunate. Way to go! I'm proud of you!

Generally, flowers and wine are great.
For something more, tokens for something you know she likes, as well as or instead of the above.
Say, Boots vouchers if she likes pampering herself, theatre tokens if she likes going out, etc.
Well done, by the way :o)

In response to an earlier post, they can't accept personal gifts, but things that can be shared around the office can be accepted, i.e. chocolates, Krispy Creeme donuts, a decent fan, etc.

Entirely up to you.

The best present you can possibly give her is keeping yourself out of going back to how you were before you met her, or a small key of any sort that you can give her to say thank you for unlocking the door that gave you your life back.
Well done and good for you and please stay on the straight and narrow, life isn't all good at times but it ain't that bad either.
Be proud and make something of yourself and very good luck.

Congratulations on turning your life around!

Send her a card and letter of thanks that she can show to her colleagues, perhaps accompanied by some flowers.

Make a point of writing to her every year on the same date to tell her how you are doing - it will keep you on the straight and narrow and make her feel good all year.

BTW... nice choice of hat for your avatar

They cannot accept gifts but a simple 'Thank You' or a card saying how you feel goes a long long way my friend.

What about a plaque? something to the effect of:
Presented to the most wonderful PO! Thank you for never giving up on me and helping to change my life.

I'll bet her superiors would let you give her that...just call and check...
