Okay, just think of it this way...
Are there any die-hard Miami Vice fans still roaming around?
I'm sure there are a few, but how will they take to this new, "grittier" (a word which I'm using loosely here), un-80's film version starring a foul-mouthed Irishman they've never heard of and that guy from Ray?
And what seems to be the films "traget audience" (young people) won't remember the show, and none of the previews seem to hint at the film's plot or anything.
Therefore, I don't think it will be nearly as successful as everyone says it is... They've projected a $35 million opening, but I think it'll be lucky to pull in $28 million.

Sink... the money spenders in the box office are the younger viewers and most of us weren't old enough to enjoy Miami Vice back then

Just watching the trailer I think is going down the river...How could they place J Fox and C Farell in the same movie and those charecters...Suck!

it may sink because of colin farrels voice is irish (where i am from IRELAND) but it may swim because of Jamie Foxx.
