I auditioned for a folk dance team in my university and I didn't make it twice. First time I had no expereince so that motivated me to take some classes and it was also a good way of seeing if I really like it or not. Second time I cryed but I again felt that I needed to work more on my skills and to get metter. I also felt that it was good for my experience to perform in front of professionals and be in auditions. I made it the third time and I was so happy. I don't know if it was just my skill though. I felt more confident the third time and I promised and challenged myself to give the best I can and be confident. So, even if you don't make it just be confident, have fun and do the best you can. You might feel sad for not making it but at least you'd know that you did your best. And keep working at it. There are a lot of great dancers but you're the best and you know it!

If you have to audition to make a living you better get used to rejection. It doesn't mean that you are no good,it means you just don't fit the part.YOU MUST BE PROFESSIONAL.Say thank you and move on to the next audition.YOU HAVE TO BE PROFESSIONAL.if it hurts your feelings get out of the business.Cause it happens all the time

don't worry about it. 1,000 other people auditioned for the spot as well. They are not going to call everybody, just keep looking and auditioning, you will find the part that is right for you

I'd be let down, but I would listen to any constructive criticism that you were given and try to apply it to your next audition. Good luck with your career.

Not great, but motivated to get to my next audition.
The job of acting is not acting - it's getting the next job.

i would feel that they didn't recognise my worth and they will regret later that they were not the first one to spot my talent.
