I find it very difficult to be regretful. I could regret that my mom was sick when I was a kid... but if she hadn't have been perhaps she would have never known she could depend on me. Maybe we wouldn't have been as close.

I could regret being home schooled but if I had not been I probably would've been a different person and perhaps would have gotten into all sorts of trouble.

I could regret many hurtful things but I think everything happens for a reason. I've spent a lot of my life being sick but it has made me stronger. Every choice, every difficulty that we face... is building us up and making us stronger and better equipped for the future.

Perhaps there aren't mistakes. Just choices that lead us down one road or another... perhaps both roads are good. Maybe sometimes it just takes a while to get to the good part.

My ex (not losing him but being with him in the first place)

Actually, having something to regret is my biggest regret so far.

Well, where Im from parents insist on their kids going to College and University. Thats the mentality they carry because they want to bboast to their friends and thats what is socially acceptable in society. So, I did go to college got my associate degree, and now Im at University. But yuh know what, Im thinking about droppin out because Im bored with the course Im taking. If it were up to me, I would have gone to a skills training school, one that offers tiling or plumbing, business courses something like that. I think it would have benefited me more, in that I would probably be on my way of owning my business instead of searching the classifieds everyday for a damn job, only to hear people tell me Im too qualified, because of a stinking degree. And all I want to do is make some money to support myself and my child.

Too many to list. What I will say is that those regrets have kept me held in the past and led to me having more in the present! I am now ready to let them all go - I can't change my past but I can shape my future and I want it to be as good a future as it can be so I can't continue to carry that load around with me.

Regret nothing. You make mistakes, you make good decisions, you learn your lessons, you move on. Having regrets ties you to something in the past and taints your present and future. Leave the past in the past. Everything that happens to you changes you in one way or another. Something that seems traumatic right now might provide the change you need for something wonderful tomorrow.

not staying in college. i never knew what i wanted to be, but back then i started going to college. after a couple weeks i stopped going. i said, whats the point in going if i dont know what i want to do. back then i had no job and my parents were paying for it. but i felt bad making them pay for it and me not knowing where i wante to go. so i stopped. and now i regret it. since now i work 40 hours a week as a receptionist making 9.25 an hour and thats no future at all. i wish i would of stayed in school. by now id be making millions.

no regrets, all the things I have done in my life and the decisions I have made, have made me stronger, although I do wish I had, had my daughter a bit later in life I was only 17 but I'm glad I had her, wouldn't change her for the world.
