PVC and PVC cement have good gasoline resistance, so that should be okay. Note that there well may be local codes regarding gasoline storage, and you should investigate this.

A major issue will be proper venting. If the gasoline will be stored for any appreciable time, then you'll need to account for a way for the gasoline to expand when it warms up. If you don't account for this, and you make an airtight cylinder, you may well be constructing an "improvised explosive device"--or a bomb, in common parlance. PVC does not do well under significant pressure. If you can't allow for safe venting, then you should abandon this approach and use a more suitable container.

For reference, I have included instructions on how to make a PVC gasoline funnel. This device doesn't store gasoline, of course, so no need to worry about expansion.

Yes, PVC can handle gasoline, however you'll need an adhesive resistance to gasoling, cybnoacrylate is definitely out.

Try using Polymer resin or pvc resin as adhesive.

Happy trying.
