Almost four years ago, I already have died and have been revived post a complicated surgery. At that time I felt that the hospital bed on wheels on which I was lying was being pushed faster and faster, and my heart beat increased until after a flash of pain I found myself in a huge field with sunflowers (like the ones you see in movies shot in Denmark). Then I saw a very bright light, the brightest possible light that did not hurt my eyes at all and just as I was about to get a glimpse of the being behind or in that light, the doctors revived my heartbeat and I regined 'life' to one of them calling out my name loudly and repeatedly, asking me if I could hear him.
My suvrving the surgery and fighting cancer, as well as my revival has been called a medical miracle by many of the doctors who have studied my case. Today I am totally into remission according to the bi-annual tests that I have to undergo.
So I guess I am not frigthened, if that's what you meant, of death.

that is an awfully good question!!!
come to think of it... i had this guy who said, he is diagnosed with teriminal cancer of the brain, and he has less than 2 years to live.
2-years is a lot time to be ready for anything. but this guy felt so much depression, he committed suicide by an overdoze of sleeping pills before the end of the first year of the time frame given him to live... clearly, he was not ready to face his death even with the 2-year span.
i would like to give an answer to your question...also in a form of a question. would anybody be ready to face death, if he knows he will be dying in 5 years, or next year, or next month, or next week, or maybe, dying tomorrow? me,... I WON'T!!!
but honestly, i gave it a real good thinking when i went to surgery due to ruptured appendicitis and post-operative adhesion of the intestines. i thought i was going to die...i was given a 60/40 chance to live. but yes, i survived.
i asked myself, what if i didn't make it through the surgery and died that day? how would things be...with my friends, family? i said to myself, "i really do not know!"
this was the time i remembered calling to God. and man... did i really pray!!! i just felt tears flowing down my cheeks and started thanking Him up there for giving me another chance.
in such life & scenario, i would say only then you would know how you would feel about death. so... pray!!!
