i've been wearing glasses for about 5 years and it's getting really annoying!!!!

YES! I wore glasses for about a year, and then decided I hated them so I got contacts. They are amazing. Get soft ones tho! I am 14 now and have been wearing contacts for bout 2 years. You will love them!

Yes, I am 14 and I've been wearing contacts for one year. Our age is a good age to start wearing contacts b/c our eyes are just done developing. My 8 year old cousin wears them too. But she's VERY athletic so she pretty much had to get them b/c she's like me, and we are pretty much blind if we have no glasses or contacts. Its hard at first to put them in, but within 1 1/2 weeks, you'll be used to putting them in.

I got my contacts at 14 so yeah, I 'd say it's okay. Just follow the directions your eye doctor gives you. Also, I would ask for the Day & Night brand they are extended wear and designed to let more oxygen into you eyes so they get irritated less often. I've worn them for a while now and have had no problems.

My wife got contacts at about that age, and she's had them for over a decade, no problem. But, she has hard lenses to keep her eyes in good shape, and if there's any chance that your eyes might get worse the same way, you may want to go with the harder lenses.

Yes. But contacts themselves are not as safe as glasses, as they can sometimes ruin your eyes.

i think it's ok but contacts dries out the eyes after a while. you will prob. need to use rewetting drops or something to help w/ the dry eyes. then again, some other people are not affected.

yes most of my friends have them i do too but mine are just cosmetic were all around 14 to 15 so yeah you can wear them

yeah, it is fine. i first used contact lenses when i was 13 but it was really inconvinient for me, so i switched back to wearing my retro specs. but a word of caution: please make sure that you always clean your lenses. you don't wanna hv the hassle of dealing with eye infections!
