I really like to shop. I haven't gotten to shop for clothes in a year and all mine barely fit me. I have one pair of pants and my parents won't let me go shopping. How do I convince them? When I do get to shop it has to be with my own money and right now I only have five dollars.

There must be another reason that whey will not let you go shopping, especially if your clothes do not fit. Do you help around the house? Is your room clean, everything put away? Maybe sit down with your parents and talk to them. Life can be hard sometimes. Are there any babysitting jobs in your neighborhood so you could make a little extra money? Good luck.

What me and my friends do is we get alot of money from birthdays, holidays, and jobs.
I don't know about you but we save our money. Then one day we all go shopping together.
If you really need some money, do an ad for babysitting. We make about 140$$ for a whole weekend. Try to find some people who pay good. Lyke many people say above mo-ing lawns, doing chores for other people( pull weeds, plant stuff, pick of poo, or even do a cleaning job if you can.)
You make money from doing all those things.
If you over hear someone saying they need a babysitter, then tell them you can babysit .
It all works.

Maybe your parents don't have the money to go shopping right now. Why don't you get a part time job, babysit or something to help them out.

A lot of parents refuse to buy things for their kids because they don't want to spoil them. Try asking nicely for some new clothes and show them that your clothes are not fitting anymore. Also, you can tell them you have to get a job to buy clothes and see if they help you. Good luck.

do chore or things around the house for your parents or help you neighbors out for a little extra cash. maybe you parents have a reason like you not behaving, being disobedient, or maybe they just cant afford it right now. but even still get your hustle on and baby sit or pet sit something show them that you can be responsible by taking care of the things you need for you self

Do you have a tax free weekend coming up? You can get more for less money if you're a smart shopper. Ask your parents if they will give you extra money for extra chores done around the house. You could make extra money by walking neighbor's dogs too. I give my neighbor's daughter 2.50 per 1 hour walk, however, some give her up to $5 per hour.

Host a clothing swap party with some of your friends. Maybe your clothes that you've outgrown will fit some of your friends and you can swap yours for some of theirs. I love doing these. You get rid of your clothes and can create a new wardrobe for yourself.

i have 5 kids, (teens all but one) the older ones have to buy their own clothes too, save, or wait for xmas and birthday, I provide what they NEED but WANTS are with their own money PLUS..they appreciate it more.I'm sure if its as tragic as you describe they'd be buying you stuff, most kids say they dont have any clothes, reality is clothes they are BORED with.

Why don't you try some thrift stores. You can get some really good bargains. Just remember to wash everything you buy before you wear it.
