Mine has to be my wedding dress.
Custom made to my sizes and less than £100.
So far no bad buys.

We bought a stupid pickup from North Carolina - we live in Iowa. The guy insisted on payment prior to picking it up - I should have known better. The thing wasn't even running when we got there to get it, even though the owner said there were just minor problems. We made it to the next town, and had to stop and get more parts. We made it to the west side of NC when it totally stopped running. Got it fixed in the a.m. and the radiator blew in Tennessee. We left it there, went home to Iowa, and 3 weeks later went back to TN to get it with a trailer and it wouldn't fit on the trailer - too big. It ended up costing us about $3,000 when it was all over and we never got it home. The guy was obviously a schist-er - - - -I would think eBay would have better ways to weed people out like that. We heard from other buyers about their deals with him, too. He has ripped off plenty of people. I really don't care for eBay.

I found a gorgeous animal print hooded jacket
with black lining. They didn't know if the hood
had real fur- and didn't know the brand. I bought it
for $10 cause I really liked it.

When I got it, it was real fur and reversable. The
tag was in the pocket. Gaultier! Brand spankin' new!

A watch that was advertised as being 14kt and wasn't.
I complained and got some response from a "lawyer"
declaring its authenticity. If a watch is solid 14kt it would
be marked. I complained to e-bay.

I'm an ebay-aholic.

Biggest waste was an electric bottle opener It doesnt work or keep its charge.
Best buy was a wig which has given my grandchildren a lot of pleasurable play times.

I got some filters for our pond and they work a lot better than the ones that you can buy around here. The biggest waist is clothes that don't fit for me!
