Okay so this is an update for myspace users. They have been having trouble the last few days and may be shut down which would explain the deletion of accounts.

I am just passing infomation I heard from my friend who has a myspace so all of you can just calm down.

tell your friend:
Myspace isn't likely to shutdown itself permanently. Since the power outage in LA days ago, and their backup power system's failure, they're currently fixing the power system. They temporarily shutdown the central server and serve their pages from their other server outside LA, this other server outside LA doesn't have a copy of Myspace's database and thus confuses the program that runs Myspace, thinking that ALL user's account is inexistent since it couldn't find it in the database (or perhaps, couldn't find the database). The accounts are not deleted, only temporarily unavailable.

hiya - your accounts are not deleted. we're just moving some databases around to a new data center. we're workin on things right now.

ok, for one I really doubt that they would shut down. Look how big it has got. and really what do you expect from a free program. and last, get a life

it had a power outage yesterday people so the site went haywire
